Exists to equip Christians to help meet the spiritual needs of people in long term care facilities. Our Mission is to recruit volunteers from the Church who will adopt a care facility in their community, to train volunteers to help meet the spiritual needs of care facility residents by respectfully sharing God’s love and Word and to support the efforts of Christians and ministries committed to the spiritual development of people living in care facilities.
Following its inception 250 years ago, the Chabad-Lubavitch movement—a branch of Hasidism—swept through Russia and spread in surrounding countries as well. It provided scholars with answers that eluded them, and simple farmers with a love that had been denied them. Eventually the philosophy of Chabad-Lubavitch and its adherents reached almost every corner of the world and affected almost every facet of Jewish life.
Toys for tots The basic mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas.
Every year Scalzo Group hosts a toy drive at our office. Our agents come to our annual holiday party with an unwrapped toy for the collection.
American Red Cross Blood drives: Donating Blood Makes a Big Difference in the Lives of Others.
Each summer Scalzo Group sponsors a blood drive for the community. To date they have been wildly successful and have provided hundreds of patients in need, with a life line.
At Ability Beyond, we discover, build and celebrate the ability in all people. Our organization is dedicated to empowering every person, no matter their ability, to have the opportunity to live, work and thrive as an integral part of their community.
Jericho Partnership is a nonprofit collaboration of word and deed ministry organizations and congregations dedicated to serving the at-risk community of Danbury, CT, focusing on issues related to life and health, our youth, our homeless and needy, and neighborhood transformation.
Paul Scalzo is on the board and supports the vision. Many of our agents attend the prayer breakfast.
The foundation is “Beyond the Dream” which sponsors scholarships to students as lead by the volunteers for Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. Some additional data in the flyer.
Our office takes the annual bus trip to Foxwoods to support scholarships for the underprivlidged last year we donated all raffle cash winnings to the cause.
